International Woman's Day

Dianne, Wendy & BetsyRuth Lea Taylor & BetsyI love International Women's Day as this is also The Annual West Coast Leaf's Equality Breakfast meeting. The Vancouver Hotel now know as The Fairmont Vancouver really is a insight to Vancouver as it was in the early 1900's. Beautiful sculptures as well as brass walled elevators & grand winding stair cases. A tribute to Vancouver's rich history.. This year there were over 750 in attendance to hear the key note speaker  Chantal Hebert. The room is a buzz with all the guests & the speaker was most interesting. I met many old friends & had the opportunity to meet some new women who were at our table of 10. It is 2 hours of high powered ideas & I find when the event is finished @ 8:30 I am ready to tackle the day with renewed energy. This year I was invited by my firend Ruth Lea Taylor so we had a brief catch up visit as well & were able to share ideas on the concepts put forward by Chantal
