Basement Heating solutions

I ran across this article in Shell Busey's site  Here is what Shell says about heating options to consider when redoing or finishing a basement. The Convectair heaters are what my electrician recommended to me 14years ago & they are so economical & comfortable. More expensive to purchase than the base board heaters but the long term savings more than offset the higher price of the appliance

Heating a Basement
Heating a basement can be a challenge. Registers in the ceiling push warm air into the room, but that warm air rises to the ceiling. In-floor heating is a good solutions for cold feet. Radiant-heat systems provide inexpensive, even warmth throughout a room and eliminate the cold spots and drafts. Designed for the DIY market, AHSI's Best-Heat® Radiant Electric Floor Heating System is a unique heating system that can be installed under floor coverings such as Ceramic, Manufactured Wood and even floating floors/laminates. Another option would be a convection heating unit such as Convectair.
