Fringe Festival Vancouver 2010
I love the Fringe Festival & I love Granville Island so marry the 2 together & for me you have a perfect mix. This week is one of my favourite weeks in Vancouver. I get to go hang out with friends on Granville Island ,meet new people ,& watch some great performers. This week 2 shows were my picks. Moving Along with Ryan Gladstone was so funny. The strobe lighting was effective & the pace of the show was lightening speed. Roccoonery with Morgan Brayton was also hillarious. The music intros were funny & the girls bathroom scene was hilarious. She acted out what we often have going through our heads in a way that brought the house down. With the goverment's recent decision to slash the funding for the arts in Vancouver it is more important that we get out & support these artists & if you can make a donation. As David C Jones ( The Fringe Host) said we need to be generous it is not a Wall Mart sale it is supporting arts in our city.
