This was a very interesting summer up The Indian Arm. We experienced a very sluggish market. A bit of a surprise as we had such a fabulous summer. However the world financial market definitely had its impact on this recreational sector of the Greater Vancouver Real Estate market. Buyers discretionary spending purse strings tightened almost shut. FInally at the close of the summer a property I had on the market for almost 2 years finally received a offer we could work with & after 3 weeks of negotiations it sold. What I learned from this sale is the importance of pricing the home as close as possible to reflect what it will sell for. In this case pricing this property under the $300 mark was the key succeeding in a sale.
