Jericho Beach
Vancouver is such a beautiful city when the sun shines! Yes, and so often we are on the inside of the window on these magical days. Well, yesterday was one of those days - sunny, cold (yes, very cold) and crisp ... so, it was out of the office and off to the beach!! I needed to have a catch up visit with my brother Bill in between his latest visit to Buenos Aires, and his next trip to the Tucson desert. We decided to visit over a stroll at Jericho Beach. With snow-capped mountains, the white capped waves, interesting wind surfer (yes, only 1 crazy guy!), driftwood and herds of dogs ... it was 2 hours of bliss. Why do we wait for summer to enjoy this experience??? With the cool wind, choppy salt chuck and amazing views, this was the perfect way to reset my level of appreciation of living here AND have a good visit with my "big bro".
