East Van Farmers Market
This weekend I met a friend at The Farmers Market held at The Wise Hall( just off Commercial Drive at Venables). It was so much fun!!!
Not only were there lots of great foods being sold (mostly organic) but there was entertainment inside and out Stephan Taylor & Xania Keane were outside tapping out rhythms and playing everything from violin/keyboard/horn/xylophone/ to percussion on Stephan's backside in their interactive performance.
They had us laughing and dancing AND good thing too cuz it was a wet cold day so the toe stomping helped everyone keep warm AND the smiles and laughs I carried with me for the rest of the day.
This Farmers market is held at the Wise Hall every 2nd Sunday 10:00-2:00 during the winter.
