WOW event 2006
The Women of Worth event http://theWOWevent.com held last Sunday,
Our group of 14 women arrived early to “get in” as much as possible – massages by Shiatsu Massage Co, facials and hair up do’s were part of the many offerings, as well as many speakers! My favorite speakers were Brenda Eastwood on “Healthy Living” and Cheri Huber on “The Zen of Getting Past Go”.
The day ended with a one hour serenade by Riley from The Temptations … all 6 foot 6 inches of him crooning “My Girl” as well as many other Motown songs, prompting half the room to jump up from their chairs to dance in celebration of this fabulous day!!
I’ve booked a table for next year! I’m so excited to see what surprises Christine Awram, Founder of the Women of Worth (WOW) Conference will have for us in 2007. This was my second year in attendance, and each year just gets better and better!! 2006 will be a tough act to follow … pretty amazing day!!!
