COMMERCIAL DRIVE A-HAPPENIN' PLACE
I love to go to Commercial Drive. Sunday morning I had a break in my appointments, so I stopped at Zesty's for breakfast. Zesty's has an outdoor patio, so I can watch all the colorful people stroll by. That Sunday was especially interesting because they closed 'The Drive' to vehicles, and set up the street as a promenade. Within half an hour of the street closure, stands sprang up with vendors selling buffalo burgers and other unusual food items. There were musicians, jugglers and other street entertainment as well. My short stop for breakfast extended to 2 hours! I had a fun-filled morning where I felt very connected to this community.
