Building Inspections

A property we negotiated an offer on was 35 years old, so the Buyers put into their offer a condition to have the property inspected. Well, the house passed...HOWEVER...the drain tiles on the one side of the house had collapsed and water was starting to pool in the crawl space which would have caused problems for the new owner AND a BIG BILL!  When this fault was pointed out to the present owner, it was agreed that the Seller would have the tiles fixed by a firm I have happily dealt with in the past... Roto-Rooter.  Roto-Rooter arrived within 3 hours of the call and had the new drain tiles installed within 3 days of the initial call. The bill was $4,000.00 paid for entirely by the Seller. The Buyer's output was $350.00 for the inspection was 10% of the cost of the new drain tiles.

In this case ... money well spent!
