Accessing Vancouver

I needed to attend an event in the city of Vancouver yesterday ... so I decided to abandon my car and use the public transport system. I arranged to hitch a ride into town with a day commuter. The HOV lane made my company a HUGE advantage. My first stop was the Bayshore. From the Bayshore I was shuttled to Burrard and Georgia FREE of charge. My next destination was to my doctor in Arbutus via public transport.  This trip took 20 minutes and $2.25.  From Arbutus, I hitched a ride with another patient in the Dr's office to Vanier Park. This was EASY.  From Vanier Park, I was able to hop on the double Decker tourist bus back into town.  The Grayline (www.graylinewest.com) was so much fun AND Phil the driver's commentary enroute was most entertaining. xml:namespace prefix =" o" ns =" "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"" />

It was a fun adventure abandoning my trusty vehicle BUT made for a very fun day that cost a total of $2.25. GREAT VALUE!!
