Drafty window solution
I have some very drafty 30 year old aluminum windows that unfortunately as this is a strata I can not replace so what to do. After lots of research it seemed that the inside "insulating film" would be the best solution. I bought 2 Patio Door kits & set aside a afternoon & was pleasantly surprised @ how simple & forgiving the product is. I purchased the Comfort Plus brand from Canadian Tire & the sales person's suggestions were extremely helpful. I can now sit beside the windows without a chilling draft & the film has not blurred the visibility through the windows. The cost was under $100. & I am assured that that will be offset by lower heating bills this winter so I am happy with this solution. I will monitor my heating costs & see if it is a lower bill that 2010's
